CSV Reporting Tool

CVS Reporting allows you to get a list of contacts or companies that have certain permissions enabled. 

In order to use the function, all you need to do is log in to the admin console and go to the level you wish to get the report at. Keep reading for more details. 

At a Company Level

If you want to get a report of all the Companies that have certian permissions, head to the Company Configs page in the Admin Console. 

You will see three reporting options:

  • CSV Report
  • Domain SID
  • Email Domains

CSV Report

This option allows you to export a csv file with a list of companies that have company level permissions enabled (so they are not just using global settings) and that match the filters you choose. In order to get this report, just click the CSV Report option, then select the filters you wish and hit 'export' to save a CSV file to your machine. 

Domain SID

This option allows you export a list of all the companies you have with a SID field populated and the value of that field. 

Email Domains

Like the Domain SID option, this exports a list of all the companies that you have set up the email domain for as well as the domain that is linked to that company. 

 

At a Contact Level

If you want to get a report of all the Contacts that have certain permissions, head to the Maintain Contacts page in the Admin Console. 

Here you will see the option to get a CSV Report. Once you click this option you can select the filters and export the csv report of all clients matching these filters. 

 

Important notes

The way the report works is that it will only export Companies or contacts that match your chosen filters and that have permission set at the same level as the report. This means that the contacts list will only have contacts that are currently using contact level permissions, and the company report will only have companies that are currently using company level permissions. 

This means that you might at some point have two contacts that have the exact same permissions but only one has them set at a contact level, while the other has it set at a Global level. This means the final report will only contain one contact (the one with the Contact level permissions)
