Creating your first Wufoo form
Please note that if you are a DD Basecamp customer and do not have your own Wufoo account, you will not be able to create any forms. You can edit the existing ones however, so if you delete a form by mistake, you will not be able to create another one.
1. Click the New Form button to create a new form
2. Create the DDMETA field
DeskDirector uses a hidden field called DDMETA to store information that will be used to create the corresponding ticket or opportunity in ConnectWise.
Create a new Paragraph Text field
Give it the Field Label DDMETA
Add the CSS keyword hide to ensure the client won't see this field Now save your form.
3. Set Redirection Settings
3.1 Access Form Settings tab
Click Form Settings from your form
Select Redirect to Website
Enter the redirection URL detailed below
3.2 Get Redirect URL
If you have saved your form inside Wufoo, you will be able to see the redirect URL generated for you on the form inside the Admin Console. You will find the link Under the Integrations > Wufoo tab in the admin console, just click forms next to the subdomain name, and then click the form you wish to get the redirect link for. Copy this and paste it into the redirect URL field of the form settings. You can also set up a redirect for opportunities; just change the WufooTicketRedirect part to WufooOppRedirect.
Make sure to convert the URL encoded characters to their ASCII equivalent. (For example: %7B is { and %7D is }.)
