Setting up SendGrid Email Delivery

This article is outdated and has been merged into our wider document on Email Notifications in DeskDirector.

Initially, the only delivery methods supported in DeskDirector was SMTP and Office365. v1.31 of the admin console (released 26th of Oct 2021) introduced the support for SendGrid email delivery.

SendGrid email delivery can be easily created via the admin console > Email > Delivery Accounts > New Account

What you need is just a SendGrid API Key for the integration to work. Once configured, just specify the "Send From" and "No reply" email address and test the account to confirm if it works.
