Setting Up Actionable Messages for Emails

DeskDirector integrates with Microsoft's Actionable Message which enables users to interact with their tickets in Outlook.

Currently DeskDirector only supports collecting ticket surveys via Actionable Messages.
  1. Go to Actionable Message developer dashboard and submit a new provide to Microsoft for approval. The scope of the provide should be global, unless you want to test the provider first within a smaller scope. Read more about the scopes here.
  2. After the provider is approved, find the provider GUID and copy it.
  3. Go to DeskDirector Admin Portal, then paste the GUID in the input under Emails -> Settings -> Adaptive Card Provider then update the settings.
