- DeskDirector 14 and 13 to be deprecated
DeskDirector 14 and 13 to be deprecated
DeskDirector version 14 and 13 (Staff HUD and Client Console) are no longer going to be supported in 2016.
This means that for the HUD you will no longer be able to:
- send chat requests
- receive chat requests
- see client presence
and for the client you will no longer be able to:
- send chat requests
- receive chat requests
- receive notifications
- receive broadcasts
The cut off for updating your end-points to DeskDirector 15 is the end of January 2016, after this date we cannot guarantee that these features will continue to work. While the other features of DeskDirector will continue to work, we do urge you to make the switch over to take advantage of new features, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
